Another travel day is in the books, although I didn’t make it to Newport, OR, as planned. I’ve done 2300+ miles so far, but the last couple days have worn on me. I could stop and take pictures, but all you’d see is the fog I rode in all day long. For about 30-45 minutes, it actually got hot enough to force me to take my jacket off, but then right back to 60 degrees and foggy.

I think I’ll do one more travel day up the coast, visiting a few cities along the way including Tillamook (you read that right!), Astoria (GOONIES!), and Seattle, then I’ll head eastward and hope to see better weather. The last couple days (and probably Thursday, too) I’ve been bundled up in my all-weather gear. As most of you know I like to ride in a t-shirt and jeans but it’s not possible when it’s this cold.

Tomorrow MAY bring a few pictures, but you might have to wait until Friday’s post since I’ll be able to take non-foggy pictures.
