Travel Monday

I woke up Monday morning and looked outside. Unfortunately, the rain I brought with me to Cody stayed overnight to greet me first thing. It rained most of the day, except 2 hours between Buffalo and Douglas (Wyoming). So, no pictures were taken.

I did take video of the Bighorn National Forest path I took from Cody to Sheridan…again, I’ll post video when I return home. It was quite cold going over this mountain range, especially with it raining, and having to sit in yet more road construction. The low was 51…thank goodness for heated grips!

Thankfully Wyoming is progressive on their interstate highway speeds – 80 is the posted limit on most, with 75 on the others.

See the map of my route here.

Starting Tuesday, I’m headed south toward Denver, and then turning west to start the trek home, spending the night in Ballard, UT. Only a couple more of these posts – I should be home by Thursday night. I’ll need a 3-day weekend to catch up on laundry and rest from my “vacation”.
